Energy & Fatigue
What is fatigue?
Fatigue is more than simply feeling tired. It is a persistent lack of physical or mental energy that may affect concentration, motivation, exercise, recovery and overall quality of life.
While everyone experiences tiredness occasionally, ongoing fatigue should not simply be accepted as a normal part of life or ageing.
Why does it happen?
Fatigue can have many different causes, and often more than one factor is involved.
- Poor sleep quality
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Hormonal changes
- Chronic stress
- Thyroid disorders
- Low iron or vitamin B12
- Metabolic health
- Genetics
- Lifestyle and environmental factors
Why understanding the cause matters
Fatigue is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Low energy may reflect poor sleep, iron deficiency, hormonal changes, nutritional deficiencies, chronic inflammation or many other underlying factors. Simply treating the symptom without understanding what is driving it may provide temporary improvement, but it may not address the underlying cause.
Taking the time to understand why you feel the way you do allows us to build a strategy that is truly personalised to you.
How do we assess it?
Every assessment begins with understanding. Our goal is to understand not only that you are experiencing fatigue, but why.
- Comprehensive medical consultation
- Advanced blood biomarkers
- Body composition assessment
- Hormonal assessment
- Genetic insights, including methylation and nutrigenomic testing
- Lifestyle, nutrition and sleep assessment
- Medical and family history
Our approach
Depending on your individual assessment, we may recommend nutritional optimisation, correction of identified deficiencies, hormonal support, lifestyle interventions or further medical investigation. Every recommendation is evidence-based, carefully prioritised and tailored to your individual biology, helping you feel and function at your best over the long term.
