Skin Conditions
Rosacea & Redness
What is rosacea?
Rosacea is a common chronic inflammatory skin condition that typically presents with persistent redness, flushing, visible blood vessels and increased skin sensitivity. Some people may also experience inflammatory bumps, dryness, burning or stinging.
Although there is no single cure for rosacea, the condition can often be successfully managed through a personalised, long-term approach.
Why does it happen?
Rosacea is rarely caused by a single factor.
It may be influenced by:
- Genetics
- Chronic inflammation
- Vascular changes
- Skin barrier dysfunction
- Hormonal influences
- Gut health
- Environmental triggers
- Lifestyle factors such as stress, heat and alcohol
Why treating the cause matters
Every person’s rosacea is different, which is why no single treatment is suitable for everyone.
Persistent redness is only one part of rosacea.
For some people, the main driver is vascular. For others, inflammation, skin barrier dysfunction or lifestyle factors play a much greater role.
Treating visible redness alone may improve the appearance temporarily, but identifying and addressing the underlying drivers often leads to healthier skin, fewer flare-ups and longer-lasting results.
Understanding the cause allows us to choose the most appropriate treatment and build a strategy designed for long-term skin health.
How do we assess it?
Every consultation begins with understanding.
Your assessment may include:
- Medical consultation
- Advanced skin analysis
- Medical photography
- Review of previous treatments
- Skin barrier assessment
- Lifestyle and trigger assessment
- Medical history
Our approach
Our aim is to understand not only the severity of your rosacea, but the factors that may be contributing to it.
We don’t believe rosacea is managed with a single treatment.
Our approach combines vascular laser technology, skin barrier restoration, regenerative treatments, medical skincare and lifestyle optimisation to improve skin health while reducing future flare-ups.
Every recommendation is evidence-based, carefully sequenced and tailored to your individual skin.
